PaperPop Terms of Service

1. Service Content

• This software is available in two versions: Free and Professional. The Professional version is a paid service that provides exclusive features and higher usage quotas.
• For specific features, please see (Feature Description)

2. Payment and Refunds

• The Professional version is based on a time-based subscription model.
• Current software payments are small tip/donation and are not eligible for invoicing or refunds for any reason.
• If technical failures cause service unavailability for more than 24 hours, users may apply for service compensation for the corresponding duration.

3. Usage Guidelines

• Using this service for any illegal activities is prohibited.
• Malicious attacks, API abuse, or activities that affect normal service operation are prohibited.
• Account transfer to third parties is prohibited.
• Users must maintain academic integrity and use paper search functions reasonably.

4. Data and Privacy

• We are committed to protecting user privacy. Data interactions are used only for online computation and returning results. We do not store users' specific access and search information, nor do we leak data commercially.
• Data processed by cloud AI services will not be stored or used for other purposes.

5. Service Limitations

• AI interpretation services have daily usage limits. Users need to wait for reset or upgrade to Professional version after exceeding limits.
• Journal ranking and classification data comes from publicly available internet data compilation, which may be delayed or contain errors. We cannot guarantee data completeness and real-time accuracy.
• Service interruptions/data loss due to network failures, third-party data source interruptions, or force majeure events will be restored with our best efforts, but we will not provide additional compensation.

6. Disclaimer

• This service serves only as an academic research assistance tool. Users should make final academic decisions independently.
• We are not responsible for any academic disputes or losses resulting from using this service.
• Accuracy issues from third-party data sources are not within our scope of responsibility.

7. Liability Limit

Our total compensation liability is limited to the fees actually paid by users for the current period that remain unused.

8. Service Changes

• We reserve the right to adjust service features and pricing after reasonable notice.
• Users will be notified 7 days in advance of major feature changes.

9. Agreement Effectiveness

This agreement becomes effective when users install and use the PaperPop extension or purchase paid services. We reserve the right to modify this agreement at any time. Modified agreements will be published on the website and become effective.

10. Agreement Termination

Currently, the Professional version is a non-automatic renewal subscription. Service will automatically terminate upon expiration.
